SIALKOT: A police sub-inspector on Thursday threw a minor girl on the ground in Sialkot out of sheer anger during a brawl.
According to details, Sub-Inspector Tahir led a team to resolve a brawl case in the Dheera Sunda area of Sialkot which is situated within the vicinity of Saddar police station.
The accused Imran and his accomplices pelted stones and hurled abuses at the security officials, a police spokesperson said.
The situation heated up further when Tahir took the minor girl by his hand and threw her to the ground. The girl, around four years old, was sitting on a motorbike before falling down.
Later on, the Sialkot district police officer took notice of the incident and suspended Tahir. The police registered a case against the sub-inspector and ordered his arrest.
Raids are underway to take Tahir into custody, a police official told.
