PM lauds meritorious services of outgoing air chief

Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Tuesday appreciated long meritorious services of outgoing Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman, saying that he has rendered great service for the defence of the country. The prime minister expressed his best wishes to Sohail Aman for his future life and endeavours.
The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman, NI (M), paid farewell call on Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi at Prime Minister’s Office.
Later, the Prime Minister also hosted lunch for the outgoing air chief. Speaker National Assembly Mr Ayaz Sadiq, Interior Minister Mr Ahsan Iqbal, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Zubair Mahmood Hayat, NI (M), National Security Advisor Lieutenant General (retd) Nasser Khan Janjua and senior officials were present during the lunch.
AIR CHIEF PAYS FAREWELL CALL ON CJCSC
The air chief also paid a farewell visit to Joint Staff Headquarters here on Tuesday.
The Air chief called on General Zubair Mahmood Hayat, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee in his office.
General Zubair greatly lauded the services rendered by the Air Chief during the Operation Zarb-e-Azb.
He further said that Air Chief’s contributions for the enhancement of operational readiness of Pakistan Air Force and continuous thrust for indigenisation would be remembered for the times to come.
