CDA to distribute 30,000 saplings of plants among residents

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad (MCI) have started a drive of distributing different saplings of plants to capital’s inhabitants.

Sources stated that nearly 30,000 different saplings of plants would be distributed in the residential sectors. The trained and skilled staff of the environment wing will not only provide plants to residents but will also give training to residents on how to protect these plants.

Sources further stated that CDA environment wing has prepared four big vehicles which would be used for distributing plants to the residents.  The drive would continue till March 19 as the staff of the capital union councils, local body representatives and school children would take part in this tree plantation drive.
