KARACHI: Liaquatabad police claimed to have arrested three persons accused of wall chalking in favour of MQM-London (MQM-L) in the wee hours of Monday.
According to a police source, the Liaquatabad police team arrested three accused – namely Fiaz, Faisal and Mohammad Ismail – over their alleged involvement in wall chalking in favour of the MQM-L.
The police have registered a case against those in custody and started further investigation.
In January 2018, Sindh Rangers had arrested four suspected criminals, including an activist of a political party, in different targeted raids in the metropolis. According to the Rangers’ spokesman, a team carried out a raid in Gulberg area and arrested an MQM-London activist, Khuram alias Zafar. The accused was wanted in several cases of targeted killing and robberies.
