DUBAI: It is important to take Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2018 back to the home because the situation in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is not ideal, Misbah-ul-Haq said while talking to media.
Expressing his concerns on the low attendance in the PSL 3 matches in the UAE, Misbah said, “It is not easy for the working people here (in the UAE) to spare time and money for the matches regularly because the situation is not ideal.”
He opined that it is time to take the matches back in Pakistan because the people there would participate more. “I think, we just have to get the league back to home because it is Pakistan’s league and the people there own it and relate to it more,” Misbah told.
The Islamabad United skipper showed confidence that his team would reach the PSL eliminators in Lahore. He praised the quality of bowling in the PSL and compared it with the other worldwide leagues. Anything can happen at any time, he admitted.
He said, “I think the quality of bowling is very good in PSL, almost all teams have five-six top level bowlers in squads which you don’t get to see in other leagues.”
On Friday, the fifth win in the tournament helped Islamabad United reach the top spot in the points table as they won against Peshawar Zalmi by 26 runs.

But what about security situation in Lahore and Karachi. Especially Karachi is black box. No one knows what is going on there.
Situation seems to be pretty conducive for Kamran Akmal. I seriously think he is involved in nefarious activities and making money. His reluctance in an easy run-out last night and getting bowled out to a simple playable delivery from a spinner has spilled the beans. He must be investigated.
