Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Saqib Nisar has directed to make legislation on the ban of sale of edible oil refined from chicken’s stuck in the market.
He gave this direction during the hearing of sue moto notice case regarding the chicken feed.
A three-member bench of apex court headed by Chief Justice Saqib Nisar has conducted the hearing of the sue motto case in Lahore Registry.
During the hearing, the court associate has submitted the report about chicken’s feed in the court. The report says that chicken feed has not bad effect on meat, however it was suggested in the report to impose ban on the sale of stuck oil in the market.
The CJP has expressed satisfaction on the report and observed that it was a matter of great pleasure if food was hygienic. It seemed that we have come closer to good conclusions. It seemed that broiler chicken was not hazardous for health.
Remarking about the stuck oil, the CJ said, ‘The things which I cannot allow for my kids would not let to use it for the kids of entire nation’.
