LAHORE: A man riding a motorcycle along with his brother was passing through Sabzazar area of the city when a chemical coated kite string slit his throat resulting in an instant death.
Chief Minister (CM) Shehbaz Sharif took notice of the incident and suspended Sabzazar Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and Station House Office (SHO) on Friday for slackness.
Shehbaz Sharif directed the police authorities to ensure implementation of a ban on kite flying and the use of metallic kite string. He also ordered a strict action against violators of the ban.
