KARACHI: Upcoming Pakistani film Cake is making headlines in the world of entertainment as the cast of the film is busy promoting the film at various films. Furthermore, it is the first Pakistani film who premiere will be held in London’s iconic home for international film premieres, Leicester Square.
While we are still waiting for the film to release, it turns out that Imran Khan has not only seen the film but has enjoyed it as well. In a Twitter post, Khan shared a picture of himself with the lead cast of Cake, Sanam Saeed, Adnan Malik and Aamina Sheikh with the caption, “With the cast of the film Cake, after watching it. Impressed by both the acting and quality of the film. We have immense untapped potential in the Pakistan film industry.”

After reading Imran Khan’s comments on the film, we cannot wait to watch the film which is a quintessential Pakistani family drama about love, loss, choices and responsibilities. From the short trailer, we have deduced that the story unravels when the ageing patriarch of the Jamali family is taken ill and his eldest daughter and sole caregiver, Zareen, is forced to reconnect with her sister, Zara, on her return from London.
Cake hits theatres on March 30.
