ISLAMABAD: Officials of Islamabad High Court (IHC) confiscated the cell phone of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Usman Dar on recording the court proceeding.

During the hearing of the petition for the disqualification of Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif, Usman Dar gave his cell phone to one of his servants named Arslan and asked him to record the session. When Arslan was recording the session of court, Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani took notice and ordered the court staff to confiscate the cell phone.

Upon submission of a written apology to the court, the phone was given back to the PTI leader after three hours.
