KARACHI: Sindh police has decided to change the names of women police stations as children and women police stations. The step is being taken due to rising trend of crimes against children and child abuse cases, reported a daily English newspaper.
The police have decided to establish police stations dedicated to providing reporting and investigation facilities in cases related to children and women across the province.
The decision was taken during a meeting chaired by Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah in January this year.
