Balochistan Frontier Corps (FC) recovered a cache of arms and ammunition in an operation conducted in Kohlu, Balochistan.
“Balochistan FC conducted intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Maiwand area on a suspected terrorist hideout,” said the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a statement.
“A cache of arms and ammunition, including RPG rockets, mines, detonators and ammunition were recovered,” ISPR added.
The raid was a part of the ongoing , a military offensive launched in February 2017 against the “latent threat of terrorism.”
On February 28, Balochistan FC conducted an IBO on suspected terrorist hideouts in Chaman, Sibi, Uch and Kohlu areas of Balochistan as part of the ongoing operation and recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition, including suicide jackets, RPG rockets, sub-machine guns, mines, explosives, detonators and ammunition.
