KHUZDAR: Balochistan Chief Minister (CM) Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo on Tuesday said that he was hopeful of peace returning to Awaran soon, as reported by a local English daily.
Bizenjo, while speaking at a public gathering said that the development projects in the district should be completed at an accelerated pace.
This was his first visit to the constituency after being elected as the chief minister of the province.
Addressing the gathering, he also said that people of his constituency had always given him the mandate to represent them in the provincial legislature.
He inaugurated work on the Cadet College, Awaran — situated in the Jhao area of the district — and expressed the hope that it would prove to be a valuable gift for the people of the region.
