HARIPUR: Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has arrested two alleged terrorists during a search operation conducted in the area of Basumira Tuesday.
As per media reports, CTD conducted a search operation in the area of Nara Basu Meera of Kot Najeebullah at 2 am and arrested two alleged terrorists. Two hand grenades and a heavy amount of explosives were recovered from them.
The arrested terrorists were identified as Abdul Mateen of Ghari Habibullah and Zaheer Abbas who were shifted to unknown location for further investigation.
According to CTD, both the terrorists were planning to carry out a terror attack in the area.
