LAHORE: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Tuesday met with ex-president Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Nawaz Sharif at Jati Umra.
According to sources, both discussed the upcoming elections for the chairman and deputy chairman of Senate.
The sources further claimed that the names of several PML-N senators came under consideration during the meeting at Nawaz’s residence.
Nawaz also instructed the prime minister to remain in close contact with members of the party, the sources added.
