ISLAMABAD: Ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s son-in-law, Captain (retd) Safdar has said that they are supporters of the Charter of Democracy.
Talking to media on his arrival at the accountability court for an appearance on Monday, Safdar demanded respect for the nation’s votes, adding that not only the Senate, but also the procedure of other departments need to change.
“Elderly people should be allowed to rest as half of the brain stops functioning after an age of 60 years,” he opined.
He said that Nawaz Sharif got disqualified for demanding the return of former president Pervez Musharraf and continuing to say that Musharraf should appear in court instead of taking shelter in the foreign country.
