SHAHEED BENZAIRABAD: District Police in a massive crackdown on Monday against narcotics and drugs seized huge quantity of contraband and claimed the arrest of a score of carriers during raids.
The B-Section Police arrested drug peddler, Qamar, and recovered 2150 grams of weed from his custody. Another carrier was arrested from the jurisdiction of Airport Police Station and 100 bottles of wine were taken into custody from him. The A-section Police arrested accused Haroon and seized ten bottles of wine in a different operation.
The police also arrested accused 15 absconders wanted by different police stations of the district. Cases have been registered in concerned police stations against all those who were arrested.
