Pakistan has a bright future, says Malaysian outgoing CG

KARACHI: Malaysian Consul General Ismail Bin Muhammad Bakri on Monday said that Pakistan has a bright future and the importance of Karachi city will be further increased because of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

The outgoing Malaysian envoy in the farewell meeting with Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair at the Governor House said he will try that more Malaysian investors make an investment in the metropolis, said a statement.

He said Pakistan is Malaysia’s reliable friend and both countries enjoy good relations adding that he will not only apprise Malaysians of the real improving situation in Pakistan and try that, specially Karachi.

The governor appreciated the role of outgoing Consul General for the promotion of bilateral relations, trade and investment. He expressed hope that the envoy will not only inform the Malaysians of the improved situation but also encourage them to invest in Pakistan. The governor said that Karachi has become a safe city for investment after an improvement in law and order situation.
