MIRPUR: Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan on Monday met Federal Minister for Defense Khurram Dastagir and discussed current situation at the Line of Control (LoC) following the continued unprovoked and targeted Indian firing.

Talking to the federal minister, AJK prime minister said Pakistan’s defence is strong while the whole nation is also united.

“India is targeting the civilian population at LoC and trying to divert the focus of the world from Indian occupied Kashmir,” he said.

He also said this India’s failed attempts will not succeed as the people living on LOC are bravely facing Indian aggression.

Both leaders discussed the recent atrocities of Indian armed forces on the LoC and condemned the cowardly attacks on the civilian population by occupying forces.

Moreover, initiatives taken by the federal government to empower AJK’s government were also discussed in detail besides other domestic issues being faced by the masses and they reiterated to take necessary measures for the safety of the people living near LOC.

Meanwhile addressing a massive public gathering near LOC in Kotli, AJK’s prime minister said the people living along LOC are facing Indian atrocities on daily basis. Modi should respect the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir or face its consequences, he said.
