4 dead, 11 injured after bus, dumper collide near Chakwal

CHAKWAL: At least four people died while eleven were injured after a bus and a dumper collided on Mianwali road in Chakwal on Monday.

The bus was traveling to Rawalpindi from Dera Ghazi Khan, the rescue sources said.

On Sunday, at least nine people were dead and 29 were injured in a road accident in Gujar Khan. The passenger bus collided with two trucks on GT road after one of the trucks tried to overtake, the rescue sources stated.

The dead bodies and injured were taken to hospital while 14 critically wounded were rushed to Rawalpindi, the rescue sources said.

Two minors and a woman were included in deceased. Most of the dead and injured belong to Narowal, the rescue officials added.
