SHAHEED BENAZIRABAD: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Sajid Amir Suddoza on Saturday directed owners and managers of rest houses, hostels, hotels and guest houses to provide the information of temporary residence within the time period of three hours using Hotel Eye Online software.

He warned that in case of failure, action would be taken against the managers and owners of the said houses under the Temporary Residence Act, which amounts to imprisonment of up to six months and a fine of Rs 48000.

The SSP directed owners and managers to ensure that information is updated through respective software in order to avoid any police action in this regard.

The SSP also directed them to provide training to staff about the Hotel Eye Software and, if required, further training could be arranged for which they shall contact the police.
