The ministry has already conducted balloting of 50 per cent Hajj quota. The balloting for remaining 17 per cent quota had not been conducted as the case is subjudice. Certain Hajj Group Organisers (HGOs) have challenged the decision of the government of reducing their Hajj quota from 40 per cent to 33 per cent this year.
