QUETTA: Balochistan Frontier Corps (FC) on Friday arrested six suspected terrorists during intelligence-based operations (IBO) on suspected terrorists’ hideouts in Karbala, Pishin area of Balochistan.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), a huge cache of arms and ammunition, including 500 kilograms of explosives, suicide jackets, prepared IEDs, sub-machine guns, mines, and communication equipment were recovered during the raids.
The raids were conducted as part of the ongoing Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad across the country.
Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad is an operation conducted by the Pakistani military in support of local law enforcement agencies to de-weaponise and eliminate the hidden terrorist sleeper cells across Pakistan.
The operation is aimed at eliminating the threat of terrorism and consolidating the gains of Operation Zarb-e-Azb, which was launched in 2014 as a joint military offensive.
