LAHORE: Provincial Minister for Human Rights and Minority Affairs Khalil Tahar Sandhu on Friday said that Imran Khan’s politics depended on baseless allegations.

In a statement, he said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief now “to save his own character” had to show the original certificates of his Bani Gala residence. The minister also said that the main accused in the Nandipur Power Plant case was always in front of him but Khan was once again trying to carry out Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s character assassination.

He said that the people of Pakistan were now aware that Khan had nothing except baseless allegations, while on the other hand under the leadership of Shehbaz, billions of rupees were spent on the welfare of the common people.

“The world now knows Shehbaz by the name of ‘Shehbaz Speed’ due to the fast and transparent completion of development projects,” he added.

The minister also said that the opponents were afraid that the public would once again elect the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) to power in the upcoming general elections.
