Conspiracies against democratic govt failed: Ahsan

Minister for Interior Ahsan Iqbal Friday said the conspiracies being hatched against the democratic government had been failing.
All the decisions against the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz government were increasing graph and popularity of the party, he said talking to a private news channel. The minister said the incumbent government would complete its constitutional tenure and the general elections would be held on time.
The Senate elections would be conducted on time in the country which would pave the way to achieve milestone, he added. He said completion of present government’s constitutional tenure and holding of Senate elections on time, indicated that Pakistan was a sovereign, stable and democratic state. He added that such measures would enhance image of the country besides positive impact on national economy.
Ahsan Iqbal said after disqualification decision against Nawaz Sharif, some elements thought that PML-N would be dispersed but they failed in their sinister designs.
