LAHORE: Federal Minister for Climate Change, Senator Mushahidullah Khan on Tuesday said that the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) always implemented judicial verdicts in letter and spirit.
Speaking to media persons, he said that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif were PML-N workers, adding that Shehbaz played an important role in the party.
He alleged that the PML-N was being kept away from Senate elections, and said that no one had the right to keep any political party away from the electoral process.
“The elections should be held on scheduled time,” he said.
The Senator said that Nawaz’s struggle for civil supremacy would continue, adding that Nawaz was being targeted for eliminating terrorism and initiating the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
He also said that negative tactics against Nawaz were actually against the democracy and civilian supremacy was being compromised.
“Former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan is a part of the PML-N, and Nawaz is his leader,” said Mushahidullah.
He also said that Shehbaz had been elected as the acting president of the PML-N in the party’s central working committee meeting.
