LAHORE: Family of former police additional inspector general (AIG) Chaudhry Manzoor on Tuesday survived an attack on its vehicle.
The police said that unidentified armed motorcycle riders opened indiscriminate fire at the Manzoor’s vehicle near Ali Park area of the Cantonment police station.
The windscreen of the vehicle was smashed due to the bullets, but fortunately, the wife, daughter and driver of the former police official remained unhurt.
The assailants fled the scene after the attack.
The police have registered a case against unidentified attackers and an investigation is underway.
