ISLAMABAD: Senator Barrister Javed Abbassi has said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) popularity was increasing among the masses day by day.
Talking to a news channel, he said that nobody could diminish the rising reputation of PML-N.
“Nawaz Sharif was ousted and sent on exile by General Musharraf, but the people voted in his favour in the 2013 elections and elected him with a heavy mandate as prime minister of the country,” he said.
“The PML-N would contest the next general election and win it with a majority by the support of the people again,” he added.
To a question, he replied that every political party including PML-N had made mistakes in the past but we should learn from history and work for the betterment of the system.
