PESHAWAR: A blast on Ring Road in Peshawar on Friday left a government official and two others injured.
A motorcycle containing the explosive material was completely destroyed after the explosion occurred near a state-owned vehicle carrying Deputy Director of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s (KP) Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Muhammad Shakeel.
The vehicle’s driver, Wardan Gul, and passers-by were wounded in the incident, the police said.
Bomb disposal squad said that three kgs of explosive were used for explosion through remote control. The intensity of the explosion also damaged nearby buildings, police officials informed.
Rescue services and law enforcement agencies, including the army, reached the site of the incident and collected the proof from the scene. The Police later found the number of the motorcycle used in the explosion.
