Bizenjo says govt working hard to make Balochistan polio free: report

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo on Thursday said the government is fully supporting all the institutions that are working for the eradication of polio, for the welfare of children, reports a local English daily.  

He was talking to a Unicef delegation led by Regional Director of South Asia Jean Gough. He said the government is working hard to eradicate polio from the province. Keeping in view the poverty situation of the province, the government was making special efforts to ensure the best use of available resources.

The Unicef delegation and the CM discussed polio and other health-related issues during the meeting.
