ISLAMABAD: NAB Chairman Honorable Justice Mr Javed Iqbal reiterated his resolve of not sparing the corrupt, and dragging them to court and depositing the looted money back into the national exchequer.

Speaking during a ‘public complaints’ hearing (Khuli Kachayri), he assured the complainants of resolving their corruption related complaints as per NAB laws and stated that he believes in “Accountability for All” without any pressure or influence.

Iqbal heard the complaints of individuals patiently and issued orders for resolving their complaints as per law, on the spot.

It merits mentioning here that during his first address to NAB officers/officials he had announced that he will directly listen to the public complaints related to corruption and corrupt practices on the last Thursday of every month between 2 pm to 4 pm at NAB Headquarters and as per his commitment, he listened to the complaints from people who came to him for this purpose from all parts of the country.

It is also pertinent to mention here that Iqbal had also directed all of NAB Regional Bureaus DG’s to listen to public complaints related to corruption at their respective Regional Bureaus on the last Thursday of every month between 2 pm to 4 pm so that complaints which come under their jurisdiction could be addressed accordingly.

The NAB chairman further directed all DGs of the Regional Bureaus to ensure self-respect of all the concomitants and respond to their complaints expeditiously. He said that no leniency will be tolerated and that NAB is fully geared up to come to the nation’s expectations for a corruption free Pakistan across the board.
