PTI says new members joining party, will win next election with 2/3 majority

KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sindh Women Wing President Nusrat Wahid said on Tuesday that large a number of people are joining the party and we will hopefully win the next general elections with a two-thirds majority.

She stated this while speaking to social and political activists during membership campaign of the party in the metropolis.

Wahid said that she was engaged in door to door campaign to convince the people for membership. She expressed her satisfaction over the response of the people in the campaign.

She further said that her party will give a tough time to Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) in the next elections in 2018.

She said that the sympathies of MQM-P for Karachi have been exposed and despite the mayor of the Municipality, the city has become unclean. The huge piles of garbage on the streets and the broken roads all over the city are the signs of PPP’s and MQM-P’s failure, she added.

Nusrat Wahid alleged that the MQM-P will spend the Municipality budget on the election campaign and the PPP has already started ‘Horse Trading’ in the Senate and for the coming elections, she concluded.
