KP govt spending Rs80mn to promote IT

ISLAMABAD: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government is spending eighty million rupees on the promotion of information technology (IT) across the province.

According to the directorate of information technology, various IT programmes have been launched in different educational institutions to train the youth, Radio Pakistan reported.

It said that 5,000 youth and government officials have been trained in IT during the last four years.
