ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday issued notices to federation and Ministry of Religious Affairs in Hajj quota case.
Deputy Attorney General (DAG) Raja Khalid appeared before the court on behalf of the federation. Justice Amir Farooq inquired from DAG, “Has Hajj policy -2018 been given final shape?” DAG replied, “I can tell after asking about it.”
Counsel for the petitioner, Akram Gondal, took the plea saying, “Our travel company is enrolled since 2012, but the quota is being only given to the favorite persons. The companies which are not provided with a quota are not informed about objections and reasons.”
