Child protection offices being established in 12 more districts

MULTAN: Child protection offices are being opened in 12 more districts to provide facilities to the runaway and street children in their local areas.

This was stated by Child Protection Bureau Media Coordinator Naveed Mukhtar while speaking to APP on Tuesday.

He explained that 53 kids were currently being provided accommodation, food and other facilities at the child protection bureau office.

“Two vehicles are being used to get street children into protective custody. They are being provided with free education, accommodation and different skills in order to make them responsible citizens”, he added.

He maintained that the required funds were also being provided to the bureau by the government regularly.
