Azizullah Jan quits PTI, joins PPP


ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former candidate from PK-15 Nowshera, Azizullah Jan called on Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) President Asif Ali Zardari at the Zardari House on Tuesday and announced quitting the PTI and joining PPP.

Azizullah reposing confidence in the leadership of Asif Ali Zardari said that his leadership gave identity to the Pakhtuns whereas Imran Khan deceived the people of KP with his forged promises. “PPP is the only party for a better future,” he said.

PPP Secretary General Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari, PPP KP President Humayun Khan, Behramand Tangi, Sartaj Khan, Ziaullah Khan Afridi, Zulqarnain and Liaqat Shabab were also present on the occasion.
