BADIN: Stamp vendors of Badin staged protest demonstration on Monday in front of District Account Office against non-supply of low price stamp papers throughout the district. The protest was led by Siddique alias Dodo Panhwer, Shahnawaz Perhiar, Aziz Soomro, Raichand and others.
They chanted slogans against the authorities concerned and while talking with the journalists, they said that the stamp papers chief inspector is responsible for not releasing the stamp papers at the low price which has caused huge loss to them and they were sustaining lots of troubles to accomplish different legal documents. People from far-flung areas are also suffering because of such acute shortage of stamp papers in the district.
They further said more than 120 stamp vendors including in Tando Bago, Matli, Talhar, Rahu and other localities are facing the same shortage of low price stamp papers. They demanded from the government of Sindh and stamp papers chief inspector to release and issue the low price stamp papers as early as possible.
