Mother of three allegedly set on fire by in-laws

KASUR: A minor family dispute left a 27-year-old mother of three suffering from burn injuries, in Ladheke village at the outskirts of Lahore. The woman was allegedly set on fire by the in-laws.

According to a spokesperson from Jinnah Hospital; Lahore, the woman is in critical condition with burn injuries up to 80 per cent of her body.

The woman’s family has appealed to the Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar and Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif to take note of the case and serve justice. Punjab Inspector General Police (IGP) Captain (r) Arif Nawaz Khan has taken note of the incident and ordered a probe.
