KARACHI: Sindh Rangers on Friday claimed to have arrested nine alleged criminals, including four alleged extortionists, from different parts of the metropolis in targeted raids.
According to Rangers’ spokesman, the paramilitary forces carried out targeted raids in Lyari’s Chakiwara and Kalri areas and apprehended four alleged extortionists. The accused were stated to be involved in extortion, drug peddling, aerial firing and other crimes.
Meanwhile, a Rangers’ team conducted search operations in Darakshan, Bahadurabad areas and nabbed five street criminals. The Rangers also recovered weapons, bullets, contraband and drugs from their possession.
