LAHORE: Renowned cricketer and ex-captain of the Pakistan cricket team, Misbahul Haq on Friday was made the brand ambassador of the Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute (PKLI). PKLI CEO Dr Saeed Akhtar announced this during Misbah’s visit to the institute.
Lahore Division Commissioner Abdullah Khan Sumbal also accompanied Misbah during his visit to the PKLI. Misbah visited the PKLI labs, transplant centre, wards and observed the modern health facilities being provided to the needy.
It is pertinent to mention here that Punjab chief minister had inaugurated the PKLI last month.
Misbah greatly appreciated the Punjab government for providing the patients with modern and latest medical treatment and thanked the institute for naming him the brand ambassador for the noble cause. He said that he would put his maximum efforts to promote the PKLI and the institute would bring a new hope of life and health to the ailing persons of not only Punjab but also Pakistan.
