ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has reserved judgment on the maintainability of the petition filed against inviting a British general as the special guest in the passing out parade at PMA Kakul.
A division bench of IHC comprising of Justice Athar Minallah and Justice Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzeb took up the petition filed by Advocate Inamur Rahim for hearing on Wednesday.
The petitioner argued that Pakistan Army invited a British general as the special guest in the passing out parade at PMA Kakul where the youths will be forced to salute a British general while no Pakistani general has ever been invited to a passing out parade in the UK.
He asked for the proceedings to be initiated against all those found responsible for this.
He asked the court to tell the military establishment it cannot invite any foreign general.
The court reserved its judgment on whether the petition is maintainable or not.
