Road accidents in Gujranwala, Sargodha claim 11 lives

GUJRANWALA: At least 11 people died and more than 30 were injured in separate road accidents in Gujranwala and Sargodha.

six people were killed and 20 others injured when a speeding passenger bus and wagon collided in Wazirabad, Gujranwala on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif directed authorities to ensure best possible medical treatment for the injured.

 

Meanwhile, a vehicle owned by sensitive organization turned turtle while trying to save a motorcycle which suddenly appeared on the road at Aj Nullah Road in Qudratabad area of Sargodha.

Four sensitive agency personnel were among the five who died in the accident while 11 others were critically injured.

The bodies and injured were shifted to CMH Sargodha where the condition of several wounded people was stated to be serious.
