BADIN: Supreme Court’s water commission headed by Justice Amir Hani Muslim paid a surprise visit to Kazia Wah area in Badin here on Tuesday.
A large number of citizens and elected councillors had complained of supply of contaminated and toxic water.
Citizens would not be left on the mercy of administration and those who commit carelessness, an action would be taken against them, Justice Amir Muslim said.
Citizens and elected councillors complained to the Justice that due to the corruption and negligence of municipal administration, they were compelled to utilize contaminated water.
Citizens alleged the municipal administrator for the supply of toxic water and selling clean water only to those who could afford to pay a high price for that.
Justice Amir Hani directed the municipal administrator and the Badin municipal committee to produce concerned record within two days.
He also directed the Badin sessions judge to monitor the ongoing situation and submit a report within this week.
