TUNIS: Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif will attend the 9th Session of the Pakistan-Tunisia Joint Commission in Tunis on the 14th and 15th February 2018.
The foreign minister is visiting Tunisia on the invitation of his Tunisian counterpart H.E Mr Khemais Jhinaoui, to co-chair the joint commission meeting to review bilateral political relations and discuss avenues to further expand economic relations between both the countries.
During his stay in Tunis, Asif will also have meetings with the Tunisian President H.E. Beji Caid Essebsi and Parliament Speaker H.E. Mr Mohammad Ennaceur.
A number of bilateral agreements of cooperation in the fields of justice, banking, industrial and agriculture research, higher education and cooperation between small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are expected to be signed during the meeting.
