ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) nominated Fawad Chaudhry and Murad Saeed as the central information secretary and Kyber Pakhtukhwa (KP) spokesperson respectively here on Monday.
According to a statement released by PTI central office, it has been decided in a meeting of core group under PTI Chairman Imran Khan. A committee was also formed under Dr Arif Alvi to look after the members who have recently joined the party from Karachi.
Party members also discussed KP’s ‘’Billion Tree Sonami’’ and also expressed satisfaction on some other projects including the reforms being done in the police, health and education departments in KP.
Core group also approved Shafqat Mehmood as responsible for Anti-corruption cases. PTI appreciated the notices taken by the Supreme Court on fake police encounters and decided to become a party in the said cases.
The committee decided to nominate provincial information secretaries in within this week, who will work under the central information secretary.
PTI would file a case regarding Hudaibiya Papers Mill, party sources informed.
