ISLAMABAD: Advisor to the Prime Minister Amir Muqam Khan has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government has failed to provide good governance to the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and that there are a lot of contradictions between PTI chief’s words and actions.

Talking to a private news channel, he said that Imran Khan held double standards regarding accountability and failed to hold accountable any person in the province.

He said that Imran claimed that he had introduced fast and merciless accountability in the province but he locked the office of accountability bureau in KP where his party enjoyed full powers. People of the province were badly disappointed by PTI and its leadership’s political ways, he added.

Muqam claimed that Imran had lied about the completion of billion trees project in the province.

He said that the education sector was on the decline, but the PTI leadership had been claiming that the provincial government had brought improvement to the sector.

Muqam alleged that Imran’s cousin was running the health department of KP through Skype and claimed that mega corruption would surface in future in Metro Bus and billion trees projects.

PTI introduced only politics of sit-ins and protest demonstrations on roads and nothing else, he said.

He further said that people would cast their vote on the basis of performance and would decide in the next general elections who they want to see in the parliament.
