KARACHI: Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) Chief Mustafa Kamal stated on Monday that Mohajir (Migrant) community should not be linked with one party or a politician. He expressed these views while addressing a press conference.
He said that it is unfair to link Mohajir community settled primarily in Karachi with the founder of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London (MQM-L) or Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P).
He clarified that his party does not wish to give an impression of taking advantage of the rift between various factions of MQM. He said that Mohajir community should not be linked with one party or a politician.
Statement of Kamal, a former MQM member and Karachi mayor who floated his political front early 2016 named PSP, has come a day after Rabita (Communication) Committee of MQM-P sacked party chief Dr Farooq Sattar as convener.
