QUETTA: Mirza Mohammad Irfan Baig on Monday assumed the office of the NAB Balochistan director general.
Mirza Irfan joined the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in the year 2003 and remained posted as the director of KP, Rawalpindi, and the director headquarters.
He has also served as the NAB Balochistan director during the year 2010-11.
Having over fifteen years of working experience with the bureau, Irfan has had the privilege of heading various investigation wings.
Besides, investigation teams under his supervision have successfully cracked important cases involving large amounts of money looted from the nation.
Expressing his resolve for a complete elimination of corruption, the newly appointed NAB Balochistan DG has said that the zero-tolerance policy would continue.
He said that as per the vision of the NAB Chairman Justice (r) Javaid Iqbal, accountability for all would be implemented and the people should cooperate with the anti-graft watchdog to put an end to corruption.
