College to be established after Naqeebullah Mehsood: Muqam

PESHAWAR: Adviser to Prime Minister Amir Muqam has said that a college would be established after the name of Naqeebullah Mehsood in his village.

He said this while addressing a protest against the killing of Mehsood held near National Press Club, Islamabad, said a press release issued here on Saturday. He said that the process to remove mines is being expedited and all those who died or were injured in mine explosion incidents would be given compensation.

Muqam, on part of federal government, also assured to resolve the demands of protest participants.

He said that Pakhtuns are peaceful and have rendered matchless sacrifices for the establishment of peace. “I have always supported Pakhtuns and due help would be given to them in future regarding their problems,” he said.

On the occasion, Waziristan jirga and protestors also announced to end their protest.
