TAXILA: Deputy Chairman Senate and general secretary of Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri on Tuesday said that it was quite possible for religious parties to consider contesting upcoming general elections from one platform.

According to a local English daily, Haideri said that the revived Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) would play a pivotal role and give a tough time to other political parties in the upcoming general elections.

He further said that the parliament should complete its constitutional term and elections should be held on time.

He said that all individuals should be answerable for corruption, as it is a serious malaise and has made all the government institutions extremely weak from within.

  1. Muslims are those who obey Lord Almighty thus will always be seen to be in unity in response to Lord’s command “Wahtusaymoo ——- Jameeyah”. Muslims are heart warmers and heart winners as they practice of Udl wul Ehsahn thus make friends easily. How many Muslims do we expect to come across today?
