Aseefa Bhutto to contest general elections from two constituencies: report

ISLAMABAD: The senior leadership of Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) on Wednesday nominated Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari as its candidate from two seats in the next general elections.

Aseefa Zardari is the youngest daughter of former president Asif Ali Zardari and former premier Benazir Bhutto. It is expected that she will contest in the general elections from Lyari and Tando Allahyar, respectively.

Aseefa has recently completed her Masters degree from University College London (UCL) in Global Health and Development and is known for her work as a Rotary International Ambassador for Polio.

PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will also be contesting for a general seat in the upcoming elections.
